After a full on summer working, my friends and I decided to take a week off and pop over to Ibiza. This was my second time there and hopefully it will not be my last! Ibiza old town is such a beautiful part of the world and it is 100% a place that you must go! From the little cobbled streets to the tucked away restaurants there is so much to see.
Favourite restaurant in Ibiza old town:
La Olivia – http://www.laolivaibiza.com/home-gb
My starter: Burata with tomato and fresh basil
My Main: Cod fillet and asparagus risotto
This was my favourite restaurant that I went to whilst I was there. It was extremely authentic and there was a classic Spanish vibe about it. We had a few glasses of Rose and then headed back to the villa.
Everyone thinks of Ibiza as a massive party town where everyone goes mad, but there is so many different vibes about it. There is partying, yoga and just general holiday chilling. If you can find a happy balance then it is the perfect holiday destination!
The Blue Marlin – http://www.bluemarlinibiza.com
The Blue Marlin is more of a party beach club then a place that you go and chill. We went there on our first day and had a few drinks. You will need to have deep pockets but for a drink or two it is lively and you can have a good dance!
Nikki Beach – http://www.nikkibeach.com/destinations/beach-clubs/ibiza/
Nikki Beach was one of my favourite days out! For a sun bed all day you only pay 25 EUROS. This may sound pricey but for Ibiza this is really good value for money and this includes access to their lovely big pool which was salt water and not chlorine which I LOVE! You are also a few feet away from the calm and clear sea which is perfect for a quick cool down. Overall this was a lovely relaxing day with fantastic food and yummy cocktails!
Lunch: To eat I had the ‘Nikki Beach Rotisserie Chicken Wrap’ which came with a side of slaw – simple and DIVINE!
Drink: Marrakech Martini – short but sweet!
Me Hotel- https://www1.melia.com/en/hotels/spain/ibiza/me-ibiza/index.html
I only popped up to the roof top bar and pool at this hotel but the views were breathtaking. For a fantastic glass of rose and a gorgeous view over the sea this is definitely a place to go!
Overall Ibiza is great for a cheeky get away with family or friends! It is hot from May – September so there is lots of cheap flights around the school holidays. Next summer pop over to Ibiza for summer sunshine if you get the chance!
