Chic Interiors

Interior design is something that I love and I am passionate about. Although Interior design is fun, artistic and exciting, it can also be very expensive. I have made a collage of bits and bobs that I love mainly from Ikea. I hope you will love too  Ikea is fantastic. It is affordable (aka cheap), good quality and stylish. They have got it so right!

Ladies and gents, you don’t need to spend thousands of pounds making your house look gorgeous – you can do it on a budget and  I am going to show you how!

1. Ikea grey rug –  £30.00

I have this rug and it has lasted me for ages. It is soft and a lovely colour. You can put it in any room and it will go with everything. The perfect rug and very affordable!

2. The wall – x1 Ikea picture frame – £2.50

If you have a spacious room with a large white wall, and you want to fill it with art or photography, make a collage of photographs in frames. This makes it more interesting to look at rather than one or two paintings or pictures. It gives the room structure, organisation and style. If you fill the photo frames with personal photographs, it will give the room a purpose filled with memories, making it a warm place to spend time.

3. Jo Lovess – £75.00 (Naughty.. I know)

So i know this post is about affordable interiors but I HAD to add this amazing, delicious, beauuuutiful candle in! It smells DEVINE. If you can afford to spend a little extra cash on this candle you should. The smell is so strong that will fill your whole floor with summery and fresh scents. It is 100% worth the price tag.

4. Orchid’s

Orchid’s are my favourite flowers. They are simple and stylish. They take little looking after and make a lovely centre piece for the middle of the table. I am sure you will be able to find an Orchid at your local florist, and I recommend you do! Sit them on coffee tables, window sills, your kitchen table and they will brighten your home up!

5. Pendant lamp – £35

This pendant lamp is perfect for hanging over the island in your kitchen. It’s classic aluminium finish gives it the perfect shabby-chic style that I love! It is the definition of simple but effective. I can’t wait to buy myself one!

6. Chair – £47

This chair is ideal for the playroom. If you pull the cushion off, you can open the lid on the chair and use it to store toys, footballs and books etc. These chairs will allow you to throw all the kids stuff in them, leaving the room looking pretty and clean (I know this is hard to accomplish when there is children around!) What more could you want? It is also look super classy!

7. Coffe table – £165

I have this coffee table! It is the perfect size – not too small, not too big and it is decorative. The top of the table is glass, with a draw underneath that allows you to fill the inside of the table with books, trinkets and art. It will brighten up your living room and make it look tidy instead of having lots of stuff sitting on top of the table. It allows space to put things down. I could not recommend it more.

I hope that have enjoyed reading this post and you like all the things that I have featured. I hope they make your home look wonderful! Do let me know if any of you have any of these products and what you think of them! I’d love to hear from you! x
